Who Am I
I am [rdh]! Otherwise known by my friends, colleagues, and family as Rob, or Robbie if you’re feeling affectionate. I’m a system administrator working at remotely for an advertising firm.
But I’m much more than who I am at work. I’m a bitch, I’m a lover person
with two kids, and three cats, but only one dog and wife. I live in a small
town in eastern South Dakota, and I really like (some aspects of) the life
here. As Bob Crosby said, there’s “No place like home, sweet home.”
I like 80s pop, ska, blues, and probably any other genre of music you care to throw at me. I’ll make a mix tape for you if you ask nicely.
I’m a member of the Industrial Workers of the World.
I would play table-top RPGs several nights per week if I could find enough people who would put up with me that frequently.
I like to read, but I don’t do it as frequently as I used to.
I believe people should speak plainly. Say what they mean, and avoid jargon.
I try to live my life within solarpunk ideals.
